Feelings Hour

I won second place in Raconteur’s “Feelings Hour” contest. The guidelines went like this:

Optimism, healthy skepticism, or just a drop of existential dread, perhaps? This month, we're grabbing a proverbial glass of wine and talking about our FEELINGS. 20 words is not NEARLY enough to unpack 2020, but try your best.

And here is my second place winner:

The yellow daffodils, laden with March snow, curved toward the ground, gracefully bearing the weight they would survive.
