Neat Publication Places

The last few months I’ve had some interesting new publications. One, Little Somethings Press, creates handbound journals from up- cycled materials. Here is their website: https://littlesomethingspress.com so you can take a look for yourself. They were really nice to work with and I felt honored to be included.

A newer development was made known to me just this past Sunday, when I received an acceptance email from Michigan State University Libraries’ Short Edition editors. The MSU libraries bought four of these “short edition” machines that crank out stories upon request. Here’s the website so you can read for yourself-https://lib.msu.edu/shortedition/. My story will be in one of the machines and will be printed out on a kind of receipt-like paper! It will also appear in an actual printed book. I am so intrigued by all of this and am looking forward to seeing the results in May!

I also got accepted to a podcast, my second time in this medium! It’s called Manawaker Studios Flash Fiction Podcast and the host sounds great! I am excited to hear my story read by a man with such a nice voice. I am not sure when it will be recorded and aired, but I will certainly put it up as soon as I can! Here’s the website: http://www.manawaker.com/podcast/the-runner-ffp-0701/

It never ceases to amaze me all of the publishing possibilities that exist! I am thrilled to be included in these innovative projects.
